Lack of Flexibility is the Reason Why Some Plans Fail
It is safe to assume that for every endeavour, a person has to plan or else, risk failure. We know a lot of activities that require planning such as marriage, finding a job, starting a business, and many more examples.
However, having a plan does not guarantee success. Sometimes, plans fail like crumbling sand castles crushed by the waves of unexpected circumstances. Oftentimes, the reasons why even the most well designed plan crumbles are events or situations, which are not taken into account. A person who plans to study in a popular university may not have anticipated that a crisis will bring down his family’s finances and destroy his dream of getting a degree forever.
Thus, when making a plan, it should be flexible. This means that it could be changed as the circumstances dictate as long as it does not deviate from the goal it is meant to achieve. It should always be remembered that it is the achievement of the goal that is important not the plan itself.
